This piece is an acknowledgement to the amazing people I look up too, whānau & mates who have, or still do struggle with this shitty addiction. I haven’t myself been addicted to cigarettes, I’ve just witnessed whānau & mates struggle with it. I’ve seen them become sick, feel shame & guilt. I’ve seen the struggle, remember having an addiction doesn’t make anyone any less. I look forward to a future where tobacco stops taking our people #auahikore #toitūtetiriti
