MAKAWE PRINT
Makawe
When I was younger I use to straighten my hair, I didn’t like how I had too much of it, how it curled in areas, would be sweet one day then cray cray the next. Most days I would give up & tie it in a tight controlled bun. These days I am learning to love my hair & all the things I use to dislike about it. My hair reflects my identity as a Māori, my whakapapa. No matter how straight, wavy, curly, kinky or bushy it may be. Embrace your beautiful native hair.
A3 signed print on 200gsm Cartridge paper.
